Palmerton Borough Council is considering the preparation of an ordinance concerning the removal of cars parked overnight during snowstorms. Overnight parking on borough streets is hindering snow removal operations.

The ordinance will prohibit all cars being parked on any street within the borough, overnight, during the winter months. The borough's solicitor was instructed to study the legal aspects and find an insured garage where removed cars could be impounded.
