A vehicle stop by Pocono Mountain Regional police officers has led to charges of driving under the influence and other counts pending against a county driver.

Vincent Moffatt, 35, of Tobyhanna, was stopped at 2:38 a.m. on Dec. 23 along Laurel Drive, near Main Street in Tobyhanna, for several motor vehicle code violations.Moffatt showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.Police said DUI and several other offenses are pending the test results.
