Jim Yost (119 pounds), Tim Kelchner (145) and Dan Getter (185) all gain falls in the opening period for the Tigers, coached by Mike Pladus. The team's other pins come from Tim Erkinger (98 pounds) and Ed Keichel (126). Northwestern also receives decision wins from Chris Littleford (132 pounds), Tim Simpson (138) and Keith Nielson (155).
