Nesquehoning police issued a report of activity on Jan. 2:

Officer Robert Blisard issued a citation to Sara T. Lucykanish, of Lehighton, for a driver's license violation and careless driving on Route 209 on Dec. 25. He also issued a citation for a driver's license violation on Jan. 2; and six speeding tickets.Officer Timothy Wuttke cited one unidentified driver for speeding, one for passing in a no-passing zone, and another for violating the borough's parking ordinance.Chief Sean Smith cited an unidentified driver for passing in a no-passing zone.
