Pocono Mountain Regional police have charged a 17-year-old boy from Long Pond with disorderly conduct and theft of services after he smashed potato chips and threw a hoagie against the wall after being denied a job at a Mount Pocono Borough Subway.

At 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18, the boy, who police did not identify because of his age, went into the shop and asked why no one had called him about his job application.The boy then ordered a meatball hoagie to go.He took the hoagie and threw it against the wall, and smashed the potato chips before leaving without paying for the food.
