PPL Corporation of Allentown, is suing Pennsylvania State Police and Trooper Brian Shandra of the Lehighton barracks over a motor vehicle incident.

Details of the civil suit, filed Dec.19 in Carbon County Court by Attorney Scott D. McCarroll of Harrisburg, are not yet available.The initial filing indicates that PPL is demanding a jury trial and that the money requested is within the court's $50,000 limit of arbitration.Efforts to reach state police were unsuccessful by press time.PPL spokesman Bryan R. Hay said according to company policy, PPL "does not comment on matters of litigation."Chris Parker
