State police at the Lehighton barracks said a 62-year-old Lansford man is facing charges of driving under the influence after he was stopped at 8:24 p.m. Thursday on Route 209, near the Castle Grill, in Lehighton.

Police said the man was pulled over for a traffic stop, after which time police took him to the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, for a blood test, the results of which are pending.
