Employees of Highwood USA LLC in the Tide Industrial Park in Hometown use frozen turkeys in place of bowling balls during a friendly competition to raise funds and collect food items for the Tamaqua Salvation Army. Charlie Vasiliou was the undisputed turkey bowler champ, bowling the highest number of strikes. The company also provided each employee with a turkey for dinner.
