State police at the Lehighton barracks said a 60-year-old Coal Township man is facing charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 11:03 a.m. Thursday at the Country Inn and Suites, Franklin Township.

Police said he created a disturbance there and was later stopped in Penn Forest Township on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania, at which time the individual revealed he had a glass smoking device and a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
