State police at the Lehighton barracks said Christopher L. Nice, 35, of Warminster, will be cited for a Motor Vehicle Code violation following a two-vehicle crash at 3:37 p.m. Dec. 25 at the intersection of routes 209 and 534 in Polk Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Honda Civic that was making a left turn from the northbound lane of Route 209 when he failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming vehicle, a 1998 Saturn operated by Ashley M. Damico, 17, of Lehighton. Police said the Saturn collided with the Honda, requiring both vehicles to be towed from the scene.Nice and a passenger, Dorothy Nice, 77, also of Warminster, sustained minor injuries in the mishap. Neither Damico nor a passenger, Tyler J. Mueller, 21, also of Lehighton, were hurt.
