State police at the Frackville barracks said a driver fled the scene of a one-vehicle mishap at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Third and North streets in Oneida, East Union Township.

Police said the vehicle backed into a PPL utility pole, causing damage to the pole, with the operator leaving the scene without notifying police or the utility.
