A 24-year-old Palmerton man has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks with driving under the influence of drugs.

Police said they stopped the man for traffic and equipment violations while he was driving at the intersection of routes 248 and 145 at 9:40 p.m. Monday.The charges are pending blood test results.
