State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of construction equipment from a job site in Monroe County.

The incident happened between Thursday and noon Sunday in the 800 block of Faulstick Road in Ross Township.The victim is S&K Forest Resources LLC of Saylorsburg.Police said someone removed a 2005 Thomas T320 Skidder from the site. A 2007 Grapple Rake, Model 759, was attached to the skidder.Police said the suspect fled the scene, possibly heading south on Faulstick Road.
