The cause of a vehicle that caught fire last week in Franklin Township remains under investigation.

Lehighton State Police said that at 12:50 a.m. Friday, a fully-involved vehicle fire was reported at Skyline Drive, north of Renner Road.Upon arrival, the vehicle was located on a dirt road on a power line cut out.The fire was extinguished by Franklin Township Fire Company.There were no occupants of the vehicle located at the scene.Anyone with information should contact Lehighton State Police at 610-681-1850.
