State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident in which property was damaged in Mahanoy Township.

The incident happened at 12:30 a.m. Monday at 267 Park Place Road in the township.Police said it is alleged Christian Van Horn, 38, was driving a 2004 Jeep when he intentionally drove through the front yard of Sam Quick, causing damage to the plastic piping on the sand mound before fleeing the scene.Police said Van Horn will be cited for trespass by a motor vehicle and careless driving.
