Coty D. Frank, 22, of 65 W. Musmano Ave., Nesquehoning, has been arrested by Nesquehoning police on drug charges.

Police said he was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.The incident happened at 2:51 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 100 block of East Catawissa, where police observed several occupants of a 1998 Volkswagen GTI involved in what they believed to be suspicious activity.Police said they observed about six clear ripped-off baggie knots near the ashtray of the vehicle. Upon investigating, police said they uncovered marijuana and a metal pipe with burnt resin on it in Frank's possession.Frank was the front-seat passenger in the vehicle, which was operated by a William Hydro Jr.
