Laura Beltz has been named the Slatington Women's Club's Girl of the Month for December.

Beltz, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School, has been on student council for all four years in high school, SADD, Spanish Club and Yearbook and on the Principal's List throughout high school.She enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to country music, traveling and working at Weis Markets.Beltz will be attending Shippensburg University to major in accounting and hopefully become an accountant or financial adviser.She is the daughter of Wes and Maria Beltz of Slatington and has a sister, Allie.
