Palmerton boys, girls both pick up victories

Palmerton received wins from both its boys and girls basketball teams in scholastic action Tuesday night.

Both Bomber squads defeated Catasauqua in Colonial League action.Also picking up a win was the Lehighton girls team. The Lady Indians rolled past Panther Valley for their first-ever Schuylkill League victory.BOYS BASKETBALLCatasauqua-PalmertonPalmerton placed four players in double figures to hand Catasauqua a 76-64 Colonial League loss.Ben Weber nailed six three-pointers in the first half, en route to 24 points to lead the Blue Bombers' attack.
