Two residents have been cited for false alarms.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to a burglary alarm at 69 Shadblue Lane, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, the residence of Raymond Cuyler, 35, at 8:18 a.m. on Nov. 24.It was determined this was the fourth consecutive false alarm at that location in a consecutive 12-month period. A nontraffic citation was issued to Cuyler.On Nov. 25 at 2:24 p.m., troopers responded to the home of Nancy May, 75, of 568 Scenic Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, for an alarm. Upon arrival troopers learned the alarm was falsely activated by May, who never called to cancel the alarm.It was also learned that it was the fourth consecutive alarm in a 12-month consecutive period. She was then cited.
