Vehicle stop leads to charges

A vehicle stop by Nesquehoning police led to charges being filed against the driver.

On Saturday officer Robert Blisard stopped a vehicle along Route 209 at Center Street for an expired inspection sticker. The driver was identified as Stephanie Roman, 30, of 224 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.It was also learned at the stop that the registration plate on the vehicle was suspended for insurance cancellation. She was also cited for required financial responsibility. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
