Drugs counts filed after fire call

Coaldale police have filed charges in connection with a carbon monoxide call from Oct. 26.

Police and fire personnel were dispatched to 324 Ridge Terrace for a possible house fire at 6:07 p.m. When police arrived there was no smoke showing.Firefighters from Coaldale, Lansford and Summit Hill responded and checked out the apartment building. They found high levels of carbon monoxide and secured the area. They also told police about finding some drug paraphernalia, in plain sight, in one of the upstairs apartments.The glass pipe and two marijuana grinders were found to be the property of Rebecca Beil, 19. Beil was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
