A Tamaqua man will be charged following an incident at a relative's home on Tuesday.

Jacob Kamant, 24, with no known address, went to his former residence at 158 Orwigsburg St. at 3:15 p.m. While in the home, he went into the kitchen and removed $120 from a purse. He refused to put it back, then left the home.The victim reported the theft to police the next day.Kamant will be charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Anyone with information on his whereabouts may contact police at 570-668-5000.
