A Slatington man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night.

State police at Bethlehem said the incident occurred at 8:15 p.m. along Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County. The scene is just north of Airport Road.The victim was Keanu C. Davis, 23. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner's office. The coroner's office said he died of multiple traumatic injuries.Troopers said Davis, who was wearing dark clothing, was standing or walking in the road.Douglas Albert, 40, of Slatington, was driving southbound at the time when he struck Davis. Shana Albert, 44, same address, was a passenger in the vehicle. Neither were injured.Troopers said Albert stopped his vehicle in the southbound lanes. The investigation is continuing.
