A Schuylkill County man is facing charges in connection with a burglary at a county residence.

State police at Frackville said Brian Edward Lagarenne, 25, of Shenandoah, was charged with the break-in on the property of Robert and Theresa Shields, 116 Island Road, in Mahanoy Plane, that occurred on Nov. 30 at 11:30 a.m.Troopers said Lagarenne entered a shed on the property and removed several power and hand tools. Lagarenne was found in possession of the tools on Pioneer Road in Shenandoah, on Thursday.He was placed under arrest on charges of burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $15,000 bail.
