State police at Frackville reported investigating a crash along Interstate 81 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County, on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m.

Troopers said Eric A. Anderson II, 41, of Dillsburg, York County, and Ibrahiym B. Muhammad, 22, of Harrisburg, were both southbound. Muhammad slowed and pulled to the right due to traffic slowing ahead of him. While merging back into the travel lane his 2014 Volvo was struck by Anderson's 2011 Volvo from behind.Anderson, Muhammad, and his passenger, Wade Bingaman, 41, of Dalmatia, Northumberland County, were all not injured. Anderson's vehicle had to be towed.Troopers cited Anderson for the crash.
