American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, has announced plans to host its traditional Christmas party for children of the community.

The free event will be held on Dec. 13.Children of Summit Hill residents are invited to attend, beginning at noon when hot dogs and soft drinks will be served while they await the arrival of Santa Claus. He will arrive at 1 p.m. and will distribute a gift to each child.The event will end at 3 p.m.
