One driver sustained a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 7:14 a.m. on Tuesday along Lyon Valley Road, in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said David A. Delong, 41, of Slatedale, driving a 2001 Hyundai Accent, and Daniel L. Wagner, 80, of Slatington, driving a 2006 Mazda 3, were both westbound. Wagner stopped in the roadway due to deer crossing in front of him while Delong failed stop with the front of his Accent hitting the rear of the Mazda.Delong sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by Northwestern ambulance personnel. Troopers cited Delong for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
