Sunday worship with baptism of a baby girl and Service of Healing at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 9 a.m. The Service of Healing with prayers and the "laying on of hands" is said for those with emotional, physical and spiritual burdens to help lighten one's loads. Designated pastor, the Rev. Nancy L. Moore, will preside. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Weekly Sunday school classes for young people, ages 3 though grade 12 begin at 10:30 a.m. Rehearsals are underway in preparation for their Dec. 14 program during the worship time. For Level 1 and 11 (grades seven and eight), confirmation classes begin at 10:30 a.m."A Celebration of Carols" cantata will be presented at 3 p.m. Saturday by Trinity's sanctuary choir, accompanied by full orchestra and harp. The event is free.First Tuesday quiet communion will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
