No one was hurt in a one-vehicle crash at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Route 61 in North Manheim Township.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Vinay B. Mutha, 26, of Rochester, New York, was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry northbound and was stopped at the intersection for a red light. As he turned left into the Cressona Mall, Mutha lost control of the vehicle, causing it to strike the traffic island. Police said after the initial impact the vehicle continued west and knocked over a concrete post, causing damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle.The driver and two passengers escaped injuries.Police said Mutha will be cited in the incident.
