A Tioga County driver escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 1 p.m. Monday along Bartonsville Road in Jackson Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Rebecca M. Counterman, 19, of Tioga, was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty when it left the road and struck a utility pole. Troopers said Counterman was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
