Two arrested for Schuylkill thefts

Two Schuylkill County residents have been charged in connection with the theft of a vehicle and illegal use of a credit card.

State police at Frackville said Kayla Bosche, of Pottsville, and Mark Schlaugh, of Zion Grove, have been charged in connection with the theft of the vehicle of Vanessa Papa, of Shenandoah, and also with using the victim's bank card to make several purchases before the card could be canceled. The car was stolen from along Schreffler Lane, in Zion Grove, North Union Township, on Nov. 16 at 5 p.m.Troopers said after receiving several tips from the public, Bosche and Schlaugh were located in Hazleton.They were arraigned before District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, on several criminal counts. Bosche was committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $10,000 straight cash bail and Schlaugh was committed to the prison after failing to post $15,000 straight cash bail.
