The Pocono Health Foundation and the Rotary Club of the Smithfields presents the 23rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Hughes Cancer Center in East Stroudsburg.

Santa and musical entertainment will be provided by local school groups with a reception to follow with hot cocoa and cookies.Light a bulb in honor or in memory of a loved one.It will benefit programs that support the children of Monroe County.Last year it funded grants to: Center of Vision Loss/Monroe County; Equil-i-brium; Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA; Melon's Gift, Inc.; Pocono Area Transitional Housing; Pocono Services for Families and Children.Also, help support the food banks of Monroe County by bringing a nonexpired canned or packaged food item to the event.Contact Pocono Health Foundation at 570-476-3629 or email
