Fresh snow expected to fall on Wednesday

People traveling to see their loved ones on Wednesday may be in for some tricky travel conditions.

A winter storm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly for Wednesday.According to the National Weather Service, northwest New Jersey and the Poconos along and north of the Interstate 80 corridor will be affected by the storm forming off the coast on Tuesday.Precipitation in the form of a rain and snow mix is expected to begin Wednesday morning before changing over to all snow. It is expected to continue throughout the afternoon and into the evening.Snow may be heavy at times with accumulations up to 8 inches possible in some areas before the storm moves through the region.The National Weather Service strongly encourages anyone with holiday travel plans to continue to watch weather forecasts.Meteorologists from various news services are still tracking the exact path of the storm, and some are saying, pending on the exact path that the system takes, the area may or may not be affected. Most are in agreement though that some amount of precipitation will occur Wednesday.Thanksgiving Day is expected to be partly sunny with highs around 37.
