Burglary, theft incidents investigated

State police at Lehighton reported on a burglary and theft incidents being investigated.

The break-in occurred in the 100 block of Spruce Hollow Road in Towamensing Township. A 25-year-old Palmerton man reported someone entered a garage on the property and removed a set of rims with tires and a gasoline can filled with gas. The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6 p.m. on Thursday.Troopers said a license plate, RT22141, was stolen from Borger's Service Station, located at 601 Interchange Road in Polk Township. The theft was discovered about noon on Tuesday.Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident. Roger Luis Hahn, 68, of 1770 Hahns Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township, reported someone egged his business window and door sometime over night of Wednesday into Thursday.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
