The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will honor Patti Borger and all the Democratic Campaign Volunteers at the Club's Holiday Dinner and annual meeting and election of officers Dec. 9 at Blue Shamrock Country Club, 2230 Fireline Road, Palmerton.

Reservations are requested by noon Nov. 28. The social hour begins at 6 p.m., buffet is served at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting and election of officers is at 7:15 p.m.Guests are asked to bring canned goods to share with the Food Bank run by the Community Action Council of Palmerton Area Churches.The club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, with location to be announced. Annual dues are $1 a year due Jan. 1.
