A driver escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:12 p.m. on Monday along Route 61 in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Jaclyn M. Bankes, 35, of Frackville, was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang northbound when she lost control rounding a left curve. The car went onto the berm and struck an embankment, then rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels facing south in the left passing lane.The car had to be towed from the scene. Troopers indicated Bankes was cited for the crash.
