Pennsylvania Game Commission Northeast Region Director Daniel Figured announces the bear check station that traditionally operated at the State Game Lands 127 maintenance building near Tobyhanna will be at an alternate location this year because of renovation at the game lands facility.

Hunters can check their bears at the nearby Tobyhanna State Park maintenance building on Church Street, Route 423, approximately 2 miles north of Tobyhanna, GPS coordinates 41.20226N, -75.40477W. Signs will be posted at the State Game Lands 127 building to direct hunters to the new location.
