A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 8:55 p.m. Thursday along Route 61 in Blythe Township.

State police at Frackville said John D. Rumbel, 17, of Ringtown, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet K2500 truck northbound when he lost control. He veered to the right and struck a dirt/rock embankment along the east berm twice before coming to rest in the left lane.Rumbel and his passenger, Robert H. Gross II, 18, of Girardville, were not injured. Troopers said Rumbel was cited for the crash.
