World War II U.S. Army veteran Jack Lippincott of Sciota and Betsy Peeney of Saylorsburg, who served in the Navy Nurse Corps from 1963-1965, were treated to lunch after attending the Veterans Day program at the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert. The program is the Post's way of honoring and thanking all those who have served in the country's military. Everyone even sang "Happy Birthday" to Lippincott as he celebrated his 90th birthday.
