Members of St. Matthew's UCC will be participating in Project One Step's benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Stroudsburg Area High School auditorium. They will be performing "Images of Adoration," written and directed by Pepper Choplin.Exercising seniorsThere is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.Free presentationAs part of the History of Monroe County Series, Western Pocono Community Library Director Carol Kern and Jessica Reitz of WPCL's Heritage Center will speak about the western Poconos at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes Inc. on Kunkletown Road in Kunkletown.The emphasis of their free presentation will be the Heritage Center's mission, which is to preserve and promote the local history of Chestnuthill, Eldred, Polk and Ross townships in Monroe County.
