The first chance of snow may be tonight for some areas.

According to the National Weather Service a period of snow tonight could possibly leave up to one inch of snow in our region.Snow is expected to happen between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. before skies clear. Temperatures are expected to only be in the 20s on Friday morning, with patches of ice freezing on untreated surfaces.Friday afternoon brings a chance for scattered flurries after 4 p.m., with temperatures in the 40s over the weekend.The next chance of snow, the National Weather Service reports, is Sunday night and Monday.
