Panther Valley club presents 'Night at the Wax Museum'

The Panther Valley Drama Club will present "A Night at the Wax Museum" at 7 p.m. Friday in the Panther Valley High School auditorium.

The madcap romp focuses on six "historically challenged" students who must attend summer school after failing their respective history classes.Their teacher decides to take them to Cultully to help her aunts open a wax museum based on historical icons of years gone by.Through mystical magic and quirky sayings, the wax figures take on a life of their own. All pursue the treasure.But what is this treasure and where exactly is it hidden?Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are in pursuit, but Blackbeard and his bevy of intimidating lady pirates is also chasing the treasure.Can young Miss Fairchild, along with her aunts and some quirky members of the historical society, restore order in the museum, or will the icons continue to run wild?Directing the performance are John Cooper and Donna Luckenbill.Cindi Cleary is in charge of costumes and makeup.Jordan Reis portrays the king, Brianna Picht is Cleopatra, and Paige Moser has the role of Queen Anne Boleyn.Noah Easterly plays Blackbeard and the lady pirates are Kaleyia Polanco, Samantha Clements, Bethany Konopka, Mary Lazar and Kiersten Duscheck.Cowboys are Lena Nalesnik, Jake Staines, Zack Moyer and Cole Emmert.Elderly ladies are Ashley O'Brien, Amanda O'Brien, Skylar Francesco, Cassie Binder and Zoe Arnold.Also having roles are Kendra Nelson, Teaghen Goida, Amarynth Ruch, Hope Emmert, Colin Johnson, Liana Ockenhouse, Morgan Kadel, Andrew Benek, Mya Jefferson, Alissa Cruz and Kim Pimble.Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
