Tamaqua police responded to a call concerning two suspicious people on Nov. 1 and found a woman who was wanted on a bench warrant issued by Schuylkill County detectives.

Officers went to the rear of 634 Arlington St. at 11:25 a.m. and found two people sleeping in a blue Chevrolet Blazer. One of the occupants was Ashley Blum, 23, of 210 Washington St. in Tamaqua.Blum was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville.
