Customer Drew Keer of Tamaqua pays franchise operator Khan Iqbal for an order of hot wings Friday at Crown Fried Chicken, a new takeout eatery at 249 E. Broad St. Iqbal, a native of Greece, said the franchise also has a location in Hazleton and many others in New York. Crown Fried Chicken offers chicken, fish, desserts, kebabs and gyros. The grand opening took place Oct. 30. The operation opened at the site of the former China Moon Restaurant.
