The Reynolds Plant of the Atlas Powder Company announced that it has scheduled a temporary shutdown of its high explosives section.

This shutdown will commence with the close of business on Nov. 12 and extend for an indefinite period of time.The curtailment of high explosives production at the Reynolds Plant is the result of a severe decline in orders and affects approximately 100 employees.
