Summit Hill firefighters responded to a brush fire Wednesday afternoon along the one hundred block of West White Bear Drive.

Police report a resident was burning in a burn barrel when it apparently jumped to an area of brush and onto a neighbor's property.

A quick response stopped the wind swept flames from spreading.
