A Monroe County woman has been charged with retail theft following an incident that occurred on Monday.

State police at Fern Ridge said Amanda Petrizzo, 29, of Swiftwater, took $24.33 worth of merchandise from Kinsley's Shop Rite, Weir Lake Road, Chestnuthill Township, at 5:53 p.m. without paying for it. She was arrested and charged.
