A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 7:55 a.m. on Friday.

State police at Lehighton said Jennifer Sue Delp, 37, of Polk Township, was operating a Buick Regal northbound on Burger Hollow Road when her vehicle left the road and struck a tree on the west side. Delp sustained minor injuries to her facial area and the car had damage to the passenger side.Delp was found to be under the influence and was transported to the county DUI center for a blood test, troopers said.
