A hit-run-driver, involved in a three-vehicle crash in Schuylkill County, is being sought. State police at Frackville said the crash occurred at 7:53 p.m. on Tuesday along Interstate 81 at the Frackville exit in West Mahanoy Township.

Troopers said the hit-and-run vehicle was being driven southbound in the right lane when it struck the rear of a Nissan Versa operated by Michelle M. Baucum, 31, of Gardner, Massachusetts.Impact caused Baucum's vehicle to spin clockwise into the guide rail along the west berm. The hit-run driver then attempted to pass a 1993 GMC 2500 pickup driven by Richard K. Stoss Jr., 43, of Dallas, Luzerne County, at the Frackville off-ramp and struck the passenger side of the truck. After that impact the hit-run driver fled northbound on Route 61.Baucum and passenger, Jeremy T. Baucum, 21, same address, and Stoss and his passenger, Eric Shields, 24, of Dallas, were all not injured. Damages were moderate to the Nissan and minor to the GMC.
