Incumbent Doyle Heffley has been elected for his third term for the 122nd district in the House of Representatives, representing Carbon County.

With all of the votes tallied, Heffley, a Republican, garnered 10,275 votes to Patti Borger's 5,654 votes.

Gathered with supporters at Bowmanstown Fire Company, Heffley said, "I'm excited and really humbled by the support we received from the residents of Carbon County."

The Lower Towamensing Township resident said, "The vote of confidence means a great deal to me. It has been a very trying year for our family and to wrap everything up with these results is very encouraging."
